Pokemon go

Pokemon go has been out for a while now. Some people say its a good way to get out into the open world. Other people say its a good way to cause an accident. Ether way there’s no denying that this game swept the nation. Would I spend my time playing go? Heck no I have blogs to post. Besides flying in a jet through los santos (gta5) is more my thing.

I mean on the bright side if you collect enough pokemon and your account is worthy then you can end up selling your account for some cash. This doesnt happen with everybody and it will take alot of work. So even though pokemon is addictive I would rather spend my time blogging or doing other computer related things.

Today was decent

So today I spent pretty much the whole day doing online surveys and a few blog posts. It didn’t feel like much else which is fine by me. My recent mma vs boxing post is on page three of google and Two of bing. Hopefully they go higher up but for now that is great for me.

I paid for the personal plan where you can apply for wordads after sometime. I wanted to start blogging asap so I felt like I couldn’t wait to pay for the premium plan with access to automatic ads, I really hope they accept me after I get enough traffic. Something tells me I shouldn’t be worried so I’m just going to go with it.

I already have a Facebook page that I’m slowly building. At some point I do plan on making a youtube channel. So aside from waiting everything seems to be going quite well. Any questions that you think I may have the answer to feel free to ask.

Is MMA safer than boxing?

MMA has become increasing popular over the last few years. MMA may seem dangerous at first glance but did you know that MMA is safer than boxing? There has been a lot more serious and fatal injuries reported in boxing then in MMA. There are rules in MMA that keep the fighter safer.

Different sized gloves

The size of the boxing glove makes a difference. Since the glove is bigger and has a lot of padding more impact is absorbed to the head of the opponent. In MMA the glove is a lot thinner making alot more direct contact with the persons fist. This doesn’t disperse as much impact to the head which makes the MMA glove safer.

Standing eight count

In boxing there is a standing eight count. This rule gives fighters eight seconds to get back up after they’ve been knocked down by a punch. The problem with this is that a boxer can suffer a concussion and then get back up a few seconds later to fight. Getting knocked out after already having a concussion can be very dangerous.

Of course somebody can suffer a concussion while fighting in MMA and continue. However in MMA when the fighter is knocked out or unable to defend themselves the fight is usually stopped. This makes the rules in MMA safer.

Shorter rounds

In MMA the rounds are shorter. Pro MMA has three five-minute rounds or five five-minute rounds for championship fights. In pro boxing the rounds can be anywhere from four to twelve depending on experience. Twelve is for championship fights.

Striking, grappling, and submissions

In MMA kicks and knees are allowed. This means more areas can be targeted such as the midsection and legs resulting in less strikes to the head as opposed to boxing which is just punches.

Fights have been won in MMA before by not throwing any strikes. The grappling aspect of MMA allows a fighter to take the fight to the floor. Once on the floor a fighter can win by tko or submission. This also makes MMA safer than boxing.

At the end of the day MMA seems to be significantly safer than boxing for a few reasons.

Why it’s important to have a strong password

A password is used to log into an account such as your Youtube or Facebook account. Having a strong password is very important. A weak password can be easier to obtain. A password such as *ocean* can be relatively easy to crack. A password such as *Ju83]@)+17!80l^+<* can be alot harder and take a lot longer to obtain with a good chance of never having success. Dictionary/brute force attacks are programs that generate possible character combinations. This makes obtaining a password such as *ocean* or *forest* relatively easy to obtain.

When creating a password you should use a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols. This makes the possible number of combinations alot higher as apposed to using just numbers or just letters. Use a total of at least 15 characters in your password. Never use any personal information or words from the dictionary. Also make sure you never use the same password on any of your sites. It is a good idea to write down passwords and put them in a place where you can remember them.

Two step verification

Two step verification is a process where after you enter your password a code is sent to your email address or mobile number as a text or a prompt. You then ether accept the prompt or enter the code on the site you are trying to log into. It is probably best to have the code sent to your number since your phone cannot be accessed by anybody else unlike an email address.

Having both a strong password and two step verification enabled will ensure that your account is highly secured. Even though these two important factors will keep your account safe it is always best practice to never click on spam/phishing email, download untrusted software on the internet, or have a computer with software thats out of date or lack of internet security such as no anti-virus. Information stealing malware is somewhat rare on a smartphone but is possible so it doesnt hurt to use anti-virus on a smartphone.

With all the criminal activity on the internet having an account secured such as paypall is one of the most important parts of staying safe.
